Intro to Shibari

Curious about Shibari but not sure where to begin? This hands-on introductory class gives you a solid foundation in Japanese-inspired rope bondage while keeping safety, communication, and proper technique at the center of everything you learn.
Thomas will guide students through the foundations of Shibari, essential rope safety, rope selection and handling, and the basic skills needed to begin tying with greater confidence and control. Students will learn and practice a Single Column Tie before progressing into the Futomomo Tie, along with additional rope fundamentals that can be carried into future practice.
Designed for beginners and those looking to strengthen their foundational skills, this class balances instruction, demonstration, and hands-on practice so you leave with techniques you can continue developing safely.
No prior rope experience is required, all rope needed for class is provided, and you do not need to bring a partner. All ties taught in this class can be practiced as self-ties.

Cauldrons & Collars is a casual social gathering for the kink, BDSM, alternative relationship, and curious communities to meet, make friends, build connections, and spend time together outside of classes and structured events. Whether you’ve been part of the community for years or you’re brand new and looking for a comfortable place to meet people, you’re welcome at the table.
For our first gathering, we’re leaning all the way into spooky season! Come dressed up, hang out, meet some wonderfully weird people, grab the mic for karaoke, and enter our costume contest for a chance to win some kinky prizes. Whether you’re showing off your costume, belting out your favorite song, or just hanging out and enjoying the chaos, come help us celebrate the beginning of a new regular gathering at UnCoven Desires.
Costumes are encouraged but never required, and no partner or prior community experience is necessary.
