Primal Druidry 101: Intro to Druidry with Awen
Ever been curious about modern druidry?
Join Awen for an exclusive evening of real, primal druidry at UnCoven in Plano.
Don’t be fooled by the “101” title! While this is written as an introduction for those who may or may not be familiar with the path, this won’t be watered down or fluffed up: we’ll be going deep into key components, mythic fundamentals and how they can be applied in the here and now. While this class is intended as a warm welcome to newcomers, there will be plenty of golden nuggets for the seasoned practitioner (of whatever variety) as well— all curious minds are welcome.
Symbolism, myth, ritual building, core ideas and ending with a hands-on meditative trance experience: that’s what this workshop will feature, as well as a following Q&A.
Tix required, please bring any questions and/or a notebook for personal insights that may strike you across the evening!
Instructor bio
Awen is a druid and ritualist of 10+ years with a background as Dedicant in American druidic organization Ar nDraioch Fein, traditional witchcraft, physical meditation, and her own work in what she calls “primal druidry”— and much more.
She’s taught on druidry numerous times at venues such as Frey’s Hermetic Supplies, The Crooked Path, the Green Man, pagan festivals, tattoo shops and more. She’s led countless rituals of her own primal druidry flavor, as well as with Raven’s Cry Grove of ADF and occasional cameos with other working groups.
Her day job is in iron alchemy/strength sorcery (aka personal training), and photographer

Alomancy: The art of Salt Reading

Return to one of the oldest forms of divination—reading the patterns of salt. Students will learn how to prepare sacred salt, cast it for insight, and interpret the shapes and symbols that appear. Each participant will create and take home their own divided casting platter for ongoing practice.

This class covers ward jars, mirror protections, threshold sigils, and spirit guardians, and more blending traditional techniques with modern practice. This is a hands on craft class where we will make usable wards for you to take home.

Exploring the liminal realms
